Founder and Director
Olivia founded The Forgotten Kitten Project of Maine in 2025. With nine years of experience in animal welfare and veterinary medicine, she brings a deep understanding of animal care and welfare to the organization. Olivia is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable cats and kittens in Maine through compassionate rescue efforts, medical treatment, and community outreach. Her expertise and leadership guide the mission to provide safe, loving environments for every cat in our care.
Topsham Veterinary Wellness Center
Dr. Amy Ruksznis and the entire team at TVWC play an crucial role in our rescue efforts. Despite their demanding schedules, they consistently prioritize the health and well-being of every kitten and cat that comes under our care. Their prompt and thorough veterinary attention ensures that each animal receives a comprehensive health evaluation, enabling the identification of any existing conditions and the development of individualized care plans. This early intervention is critical, helping to detect contagious diseases such as feline leukemia, respiratory infections, and parasites before they can affect others.
